ESCAPE TRAINING COURSE

This innovative intellectual output will be composed of 3 main parts:

  1. The content of the 4 general modules in English
  2. Four general modules short videos, materials, exercises, and quizzes. The modules will be combined so that (i) they follow the structure of authoritative textbooks when available, (ii) together they cover the required student curricula specification and (iii) and the overall goal within the format of the 4-week- online- course. For each week, the class content is equivalent to 8 hours of lecture in the traditional classroom format. Also, one day of in-class activity will be carefully developed, to empower the skill acquired during the online class.
Adjustments will be made to ensure that the content of global training is also relevant to the pedagogical objectives of each HEI and country.
This work will result in a report which will include the content of the 4 general modules in English.
The replicability of such an output is high because the content of these modules will be used a lot for developing this training across Europe.

  3. The content of the 4 country-specific modules
  4. In parallel, the three HEIs will also work on the script of the three country-specific modules.
This includes the creation of technical texts (written & audio), pictures, animations, exercises (Quiz, Drag & Drop…) and the script for the videos. The particularity of these modules is that they will address country-specific issues and insight. ISARA, UNITO and WU will respectively elaborate the French, Italian and Dutch modules. The content will be developed on a 3- week format, 1 week per country. The class content is equivalent to 8 hours of lectures in the traditional classroom format. Also, one day of in-class activity will be carefully developed, to empower the skills acquired during the online class.
This work will result in a report including the content of the 3 country-specific modules in English.
The replicability of such an output is also quite high because it represents some good examples on specific country modules and will then constitute a basis for any replication outside the participating countries.

  5. The content of the coaching material
  6. The three HEIs, in collaboration with the three federations, will develop the materials for the face-to-face collaboration activities. The material developed will be in a form of case studies, interviews of managers of international sales in different companies, and will be used to guide the collaborative activity that will take place at the end of the online training, during SIAL 2018.
During the development, meetings will be organized to ensure the alignment in the production of the material, and agreement on the distribution of modules across academic partners will be also addressed. This activity will result in the production of the first set of materials for face-to-face collaboration activities.
